Apprentice Engineer – Lloyd Ltd Penrith

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Engineer to join the successful team at Lloyd Ltd Penrith.

The main purpose of this role is to develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a fully qualified Engineer. The role will focus around lawncare machinery, with the scope to grow your experience and become a key member of the workshop. Through on-the-job training from our experienced and highly-skilled Engineers, and an apprenticeship training course at an established college, you will receive all the knowledge needed to become a fully-qualified Engineer.

As an Apprentice Engineer your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working alongside fully qualified Engineers to diagnose and fix mechanical problems
  • Assisting with general service and PDI work
  • Learning to fault find and fix mechanical and electrical components
  • Ensuring the cleanliness of the workshop is maintained
  • Working to a daily routine and ensuring all jobs are completed
  • Working safely and in line with our Company Health and Safety guidelines
