Mercedes-Benz Unimog puts on more muscle where it matters for UK customers
Mercedes-Benz Trucks has responded to customer feedback by introducing more powerful versions of its 4×4 Unimog UGE implement carrier.
Now available for order by UK operators, the U435 and U535 produce 260 kW (354 hp). This represents an increase of 40 kW (54 hp) on the highest output previously available from the Euro VI Step E 7.7-litre in-line six-cylinder engine. Maximum torque is up by 180 Nm to 1,380 Nm, which is available from 1,800 rpm.

In January 2017 Lloyd Ltd announced its appointment as a Mercedes-Benz Unimog franchise dealer. Since then, having appointed a Unimog Sales Specialist, Andrew Hines, the company has already enjoyed significant interest from its customers in these impressive implement carriers.
There is, however, no substitute for getting behind the wheel and seeing for yourself what they are truly capable of, so on Tuesday 16th May, Lloyd Ltd hosted a Ride & Drive Event at Slaley Hall near Hexham to give guests the opportunity to do just that.
